Os Red Hot Chili Peppers já vêm desde os anos 80 e contam já com 10 álbuns de originais, tendo sido o mais recente trabalho lançado em 2011.
A banda de Anthony Kiedis já ganhou vários prémios no mundo da música, e o tema desta semana foi vencedor do prémio "Melhor Canção Rock" no ano de 2000. Foi, de resto, o primeiro single de um cd que se tornou numa referência para a banda: Californication.
Scar Tissue, foi produzida pelo mesmo homem que ajudou a fazer com que os Linkin Park começassem a procurar novos sons Rick Rubin!
